Description
Joes Golden Gasolines is proud to present you something a little different than what we normally advertise. This stunning 1987 Harley Davidson Softail Custom with 13,253 km.
Polished and presented in the gorgeous Atlantic Blue mixed with a Shim’r blue. The paint has a protec clear coat over it making it pop. The bike was imported from America in 2012 and was registered that year. It’s a two owner bike since being imported. It rides very nice on the road and gets many looks, even when parked. There has been a lot of work done on the bike and there are an extended amount of receipts showing that.
Work completed on bike:
New screaming eagle spark plugs, stator (common fault on these bikes), Hi 4 ignition system, All primary oils and gaskets, oil pressure sensor and new rear shocker.
Some extras on the bike:
Drag bars, it’s been lowered, Chrome foot controls (extended also), Chrome forward controls, Chrome swingarm inserts, chrome chain guard, braided brake lines and clutch line (all ADR approved), new illimitation pad (Blue, Green, Red), new main wiring loom, boltless chrome struts, LED rear tail lights, S and S carby, Vance and Hines pipes, Front master cylinder assembly in chrome, new tyres on the bike were put on in 2018.
Very good 2nd hand front spoked wheel and dash panel ‘chrome suit’.
A lot of time and effort has been put into this bike. It has been properly serviced and is up to date. Lots of receipts are included.
Most recent service done was in 2020 the 14th of April. Labour that was completed – Remove primary drive sub assembly and clutch. Replace all inner primary drive seals, clutch cover seals and gaskets, primary O-rings, starter motor O-rings and seals into primary case and re-fit primary drive and all covers. Re-fill primary drive. Drain fuel tank, add 5 litres premium unleaded. Road test bike to outer harbour and back. No back firing and no oil leaks evident.
