Joe’s Golden Gasoline and Joe Belperio are well known in the American Classic Car scene locally and interstate. It was one of the country’s largest American Motor Vehicle importers and retailers for a long time between 1984 and 2007.
The name was and remains synonymous with quality and desirable American Classics.

Our Vehicles

All of the vehicles listed are located in South Australia and are available for immediate inspection and purchase.

The vehicles are stored in our secure warehouses, protected from the elements to ensure they are presented and maintained in the best condition.

The vehicles are purchased and imported direct from the USA. We have already worked through the risks of importing the vehicles for you. We take care of:

International Freight
Customs Clearance

All vehicles are checked in our workshop and are represented honestly.

Our People

Joe Belperio

Joe is the principal director. He has remained passionate about these exciting cars, despite closing down the business for a while in 2007 to pursue other business opportunities.

The lure and excitement of the cars was too much and Joe has started to import a few select cars towards building up an exciting stock list.

Joe has an extensive background in American Classic cars having visited the USA on many occasions to source vehicles starting as far back as 1988.

Peter Sardelis

Pete oversees the mechanical operations of the business. He has been with Joe since 1999. He is a qualified mechanic and ran the mechanical operations of the business for many years, remaining with Joe in another role whilst the vehicle operations were closed.

He now oversees any works required to all vehicles.
