1957 Ford Thunderbird

Joes Golden Gasolines is proud to present this restored 1957 Ford Thunderbird. This is a very nice baby bird finished in Raven Black and the porthole hardtop roof finished in colonial White. This Gorgeous collectible 1957 American classic car was originally out of California, imported to South Australia in 2018 coming over 100% rust-free!!

Under the hood is the (D code) powerful, fully reconditioned 312 ci V8 Y block with a Holley 4 barrel carburettor producing 245 Horse Power linked to the 3-speed Automatic transmission. Sounds great when it starts, idles perfectly, drives and shifts through the gears smoothly. Power steering and power brakes makes it very easy to drive this Thunderbird. 83,987 original miles on the vehicle. The engine bay also features a brand new factory air cleaner, thunderbird rocker covers, new gaskets, new spark plugs, new battery, and a new washer bag.

The underbody of the car has had a full restoration and was finished off nicely. The new parts and work completed included – all new bushes, seals, rubbers, brake lines, drum brakes machined, new shockers, brand new tyres which includes a 1” white wall.

The cabin features new upholstery; brand new windscreen and mirrors, wing windows, Dash, floor carpeting, door panels, door and dash alloy panels, thunderbird lookalike Bluetooth radio, lighter, and the rare option power windows. Everything is in working order. The back and front chrome bumpers have been re-chromed as well. A lot of new parts throughout the car that haven’t been mentioned.

All and all the Thunderbird is in great condition and ready to do some driving. All South Australian roadworthy and 3 months registration will be included with the sale.
