Description
Check out this Patina Patina 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan 2-door. This Chevrolet features the endearing 1940’s fastback body style that is seemingly as big of a hit today as it was then.
Under the king size hood is the GM Chevrolet 216CID Straight 6 coupled to the 3 speed manual transmission. It’s an original good running vehicle.
Inside is in its original 73 year old condition. The interior is mated with a brown upholstery, roof lining is in great condition, front and rear bench seats. Amazingly the rear bench seat still has the original seat cover over it… Really shows that this car was looked after inside. “Jesus Christ” handles, H pattern 3 speed manual, door cards and ornaments all still in great condition considering how old the Fleetline is.
Outside the stance on the vehicle is perfect. It sits a bit higher at the front and you look at it and think it’s been chopped but that’s why the 40’s fastbacks are becoming a hit because that’s the way the Aerosedan was built. Original, this car has a 2-tone colour combination. Horizon blue on the bottom half of the car and Lake Como blue on the roof. It’s presented in the Patina finish so has had a clear finish put over the car. New blue power-coated rims with the chrome hub caps and rings added, New 1” whitewall tyres, new brake lines all round, most of the mouldings and chrome are in good condition considering the age of the car and there are a couple small little cracks in the glass.
Beautiful representation of a patina 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline.
